Andrew grew up in Durban, South Africa. After completing his Commerce degree, he moved to London, where he attended St Michael’s Church, Chester Square.

Liz is from Liverpool. After French at Nottingham and teacher training at Lancaster, she taught in London and also attended St Michael’s where they married in 2003.

Andrew and Liz have both travelled extensively and during 2004 they began to feel that God was calling them to some kind of practical Christian work and sought God's direction as to what roles they should take.

Since they moved to South Africa in 2004 their family has grown to five. Esther was born early 2006, Benjamin December 2007 and Joel 2011 - all are already seasoned world travellers!

After serving with MAF for 4 years in Tanzania, Andrew and Liz and found it a great encouragement to see how God has provided for them.

They then served in South Sudan from 2014, and today are now based in Uganda.
